I found this mystery box today and was surprised that I was the first one there (I think
it was planted during the summer??) The building shown in the clue is quite an
interesting spot! There were some other visitors there today and they kept asking me
questions about the structure - I guess I looked knowledgeable or something. I
wasn't deliberately unhelpful, but I was sort of hoping they would leave already so
that I could find thebox. I am inching my way towards 200 Fs - only 3 to go!

shoot. I was hoping to snag that one first! Sako and I were out
there about two weeks ago but didn't manage to find the box. I e-
mailed the coyotlclan to make sure we were on the right track. I was
hoping to get out there again for a second try but you beat me to it!

I have clarified the clues slightly. Please check them before
trying this box. Good hunting!

vix,
You mention Sako in your post. Can you tell me if your Sako planted
the original "Succulent Box" letterbox in the Los Angeles County
Arboretum? My notes from finding this box say, per the logbook, it
was planted by "The Sako Clan." I was never sure about this name,
though, because I found the writing in this LB stampbook a little
hard to decipher.

Sorry...that's not us. Sako is my almost 2-year old daughter. It's short for Fusako.
thanks,
